The terms used across these docs, in alphabetical order.
Terms
Drop
The distance below the high-water mark at which a stop fires, as a percentage. Rind offers 5%, 8%, 12% and 20%. The 3% fine drop is available to $RIND stakers. An 8% drop at a high-water mark of $180 gives a trigger of $165.60.
Halt
A pause in trading of a stock on its exchange, for news, volatility or regulatory reasons. During a halt, Rind freezes the position and preserves the high-water mark. See Halts, pauses and freezes.
High-water mark
The highest valid reference price since a position was opened. It starts at the deposit price and only moves up. Abbreviated HWM. See Trailing-stop mechanics.
Keeper
An independent operator that watches positions and submits sales when stops fire. Keepers bond $RIND, earn bounties for correct execution, and can be slashed for bad execution. The contract verifies every execution. See Keepers.
Night mode
An opt-in, per-position mode that keeps a stop armed while the US market is closed. It uses a 30-minute Uniswap TWAP as the reference and widens the drop by 3 points. See Night mode.
Robinhood Chain
A layer-2 network built by Robinhood on Arbitrum Orbit, live on mainnet since July 1, 2026, with gas paid in ETH. Mainnet chain ID 4663. Rind is built on Robinhood Chain and is not affiliated with Robinhood. See the Robinhood Chain docs.
Slippage cap
The maximum difference allowed between the reference price and the sale price. If a sale would exceed it, Rind fills partially or waits. See Execution and slippage.
Stock Token
An ERC-20 token on Robinhood Chain that tracks a US stock, such as NVDA, AAPL or TSLA. Stock Tokens are issued by Robinhood Assets (Jersey) Limited and are products of their issuer. They are not available to US persons.
Trigger level
The price at which a stop fires, equal to the high-water mark multiplied by one minus the drop. It moves up with the high-water mark and never moves down.
TWAP
Time-weighted average price. The average price of an asset in a pool over a window of time, here 30 minutes. It is harder to move with a single trade than the spot price.
USDG
A US dollar stablecoin on Robinhood Chain. Rind settles every executed exit into USDG, credited to the position owner.
