FAQ
Answers to the eight most common questions about Rind, $RIND and Stock Tokens.
Short answers to the questions people ask most. Each one links to the page with the detail.
Is Rind custodial?
No. Your Stock Tokens sit in the vault contract under a position that belongs to your wallet, and only your wallet can withdraw them. Keepers can do one thing: execute the sale you configured, when your trigger is hit, with the USDG credited to you.
The vault contracts are not deployed yet. This describes the intended design, which will be audited before launch. See Security.
What happens when the US market is closed?
By default, the stop sleeps. The Chainlink feed for a Stock Token freezes while the real exchange is closed, and Rind does not trigger on a stale price. Your high-water mark is kept.
If you opt in to Night mode for a position, Rind switches to a 30-minute Uniswap TWAP off-hours and widens your drop by 3 points, so an 8% drop becomes 11%. The wider band absorbs thin-pool noise. See Night mode.
Is the exit price guaranteed?
No. A trailing stop is a trigger, not a guaranteed price, exactly as in traditional markets. When the trigger is hit, a keeper sells at the best available venue within a capped slippage.
If the price gaps through your level, the sale happens below it. If slippage would exceed the cap, Rind fills partially or waits for the next window. It never sells at any price. See Execution and slippage.
What if the Stock Token is halted or paused?
Nothing fires. If the exchange halts the stock, or the issuer pauses or freezes the token, the position is frozen and its high-water mark is preserved.
When trading resumes and a fresh price is available, the stop re-arms from the same high-water mark. See Halts, pauses and freezes.
How much does it cost?
0.20% of the sale value, charged only when a stop fires. Depositing, waiting and withdrawing are free, apart from Robinhood Chain gas paid in ETH. Staking $RIND lowers the fee to 0.10%.
Fees split 50% to buy and burn $RIND, 30% to the keeper bounty pool and 20% to the treasury. See Fees.
Is $RIND live? Where is the contract address?
No. $RIND has not launched and no contract address exists. Any token using the name or ticker today is fake.
The contract address will be announced only on @Rind_rwa, the only official channel. See $RIND token.
Do I need KYC?
Rind has no KYC, no whitelist and no account. You connect a wallet.
Stock Tokens are products of their issuer, which sets its own eligibility rules. Stock Tokens are not available to US persons. Check that you are eligible to hold them where you live.
Is Rind affiliated with Robinhood?
No. Rind is independent software built on Robinhood Chain, a public network. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with Robinhood Markets, Inc., Robinhood Assets (Jersey) Limited, or any of their affiliates. See Risks and disclaimers.
